Skippy Says: My Thrifty Closet (Guest Post)

Hello everyone! I am Mongs from my thrifty closet. I've been married to a wonderful husband for 14 years and now a stay at home mom of two boys.  Thank you to Inna for allowing me to guest post at her blog today, it's such an honor. Inna has such a fabulous sense of style and color, she is one of the many bloggers who constantly inspires me.

I live in Singapore, a cosmopolitan city on a tiny tropical island. I enjoy fashion, history, art, architecture, vintage, photography and design. My interests are sewing, refashioning and thrifting, so my blog centers around these things, mainly my personal style and how I try to be creative with my thrifty closet.

As a christian stay home mom, I try to be frugal and resourceful. So I wear mostly hand-me-down
and thrifted clothes. I enjoy refashioning second hand clothes and
making my
own accessories from things that I find at the thrift store.

This was a thrifted 50 cents tie refashioned into a bow belt

A thrifted $8 dress refashion

How about making a safety pin necklace from some thrifted beads? It's really easy!

I get a lot of style ideas on Pinterest and magazines. And also inspiration from other blogs.
Thank you very much for reading this post. And thank you Inna for your generosity and kindness!
Have a nice day!

  11. Thus, there are many broad options for getting to know various kinds of news today and that too through the use of various mediums.
Office goers and people who are travelling often do not get time to read news from the newspaper or
watch it to get good information they could subscribe for sports SMS alerts.
You can only visit once a day and there is no guarantee that you will get anything from it but
as I always say, free is free.

  12. Now people can watch all that they want to in a number of
clicks. One of my favorite ones is where the thanksgiving
turkey is hiding from a guy, who apparently wants to get him in the oven,
by placing a lampshade on his head and standing on a dresser so he
looks like a lamp. It is also time to start
thinking about how you want your My - Space page to
    look for the holiday.
