Ok, so, while it may be kind of kitschy to wear an umbrella printed dress in the rain, sometimes a girl has to give in to her inner kitsch. Amiright? And kitsch tends to be a weakness of mine. Right up there along with stupid puns. I'm sorry, but I love stupid puns. Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was awesome! Eh? Eh? I wonder how many followers I'll lose with that one...
Shop:
- c/o eShakti dress (Buy here) And remember, you still have time to get $20 off your purchase at eShakti by using the promo code SAYSSKIPPY0811, valid till 31st December, 2011. Considering there is stuff on their site for as cheap as $20, I'd hurry my little tush on over :)
- Anthropologie trenchcoat (Gift from my mother-in-law circa 2010, no longer available. Buy kind of similar here or here)
- Kate Spade via DSW tights (No longer available, buy similar here or here)
- Scarf from random little shop in Turkey

Cute joke and I love your tights!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Your scarf is so lovely-- I'm bummed that it's a piece that can't be traced to its source.
ReplyDeleteI would hardcore wear an umbrella-print dress during the rain! To be honest, I would hardcore wear an umbrella-print dress all the time. It never occurred to me that this is a thing my life needs, but now I am convinced.
Awe, I think that dress is perfect for a rainy day, kitchy or not!

Ha, I liked your antenna joke, but I also like silly puns. What I also like? Your trenchcoat and awesome tights! That trench is so cute and ruffly and the color is so different, I wish it was still available. Textured tights are the best, I think they add a little something to every look!
ReplyDeleteHehe, you and I might be the only ones that think that, but glad I'm not totally on my own :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, well thank you! I linked to wear the dress is available at the bottom of the post, as well as a $20 off code if you're interested :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Hannah!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cara!! I'm sorry,I got that trench in the summer of 2010, so unfortunately it's all sold out ::(
ReplyDeleteCute dress! Yes, we did get a little rain around these parts yesterday, didn't we? I like your antenna joke, too :)
ReplyDeleteYeah... I don't think the word you are looking for is 'kitchy' I think it's 'adorable'.

ReplyDeleteYour antennae joke has convinced me of one thing, and one thing only: you are my long lost BFF. You know what this means? BESTIE NECKLACES!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just told Mr. CP your joke. His response: "I still love you. Respect, though..." BURN!
ReplyDeleteI think the umbrella dress is BEAUTIFUL. And I would totally wear it in the rain :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim :)

ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! And an umbrella-printed dress on a rainy day = perfecto. :) I must confess to spending a lot of time browsing eShakti a few days ago, trying to decide what to get with the promo code -- just couldn't decide! And now I'm being lured by J. Crew's free shipping and sale items. Tough decisions!
