I decided to change up my usual routine yesterday and spent the day getting some work done in one of my favorite San Francisco cafes, Simple Pleasures. The one not-so-pleasant thing about that cafe is the ridiculously claustrophobically small bathroom. Combine that with my pea-sized bladder and you've got a recipe for a minor panic attack about every hour or so. At least there's stuff graffitied all over the wall that I try to distract myself with so I don't hyperventilate so hard that I end up passing out and falling into the toilet. Today's favorite was someone that wrote "acting tough is the result of fear," with "fear" crossed out and replaced by "beer."
- Modcloth dress (bought on sale during the last 70% off cabin fever sale circa 2010 or early 2011? No longer available)
- Banana Republic lace shirt (bought on sale- no longer available online but I've still seen it in several stores. Buy similar

- Anthropologie booties (bought on sale circa 2010, no longer available)

- Treasure Island flea market earrings

Adore your lace shirt. Lace makes me feel so feminine. Also enjoy seeing pictures of the bridge too since I've never been to San Francisco.
ReplyDeleteThese pics are lovely!! Weird, you look a lot like my sister here.

Seeing San Francisco famous bridge brings back wonderful memories of my trip there so many years ago. LOL. Too funny. Yes, I know exactly what you mean by the cupboard sized cubicle disguised as a toilet!
ReplyDeleteThanks Eeli! I was definitely a little overdressed for the cafe, but I'm used to it and don't mind :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I feel the same way in lace :) And you should come visit, it's a gorgeous city! Not that I'm biased or anything :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!! I've never been told I look like anyone before, so this is kind of exciting :) How old is she? Please don't tell me 14.
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather!! I'm so glad you like it :)

This is such a pretty outfit - love that wine colored body-con dress! And like your new blog header too! That's so fun!
ReplyDeleteWhy do all SF cafes have super small bathrooms?? I have never been to Simple Pleasures but need to check it out - looking good as always!
ReplyDeleteAw, you should come back and visit! Especially since you had a good trip the first time :)
ReplyDeleteyou do? from where?
ReplyDeleteThanks Samanatha!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Katherine! Maybe because real estate is so expensive? I'm not sure but I don't like it :) Simple Pleasures is in the Richmond district so it's kind of a trek, but they often have live music and are just a great little neighborhood cafe
ReplyDeleteLove the new header Skippy! Great dress! Love the details on the side of the dress and the wine color. :D
