Yesterday, my husband's family and I went to the Renaissance Faire to celebrate my brother-in-law's and his girlfriend's birthdays. Yes, the Renaissance faire. I know, I'm the epitome of cool. But you know what? There was a petting zoo. And if there's a petting zoo, I'm there. It was a particularly good petting zoo too. So good, in fact, that I didn't even feel bad pushing the little kiddies out of my way so I could get some good pets in. Oh yes I did. Judge away, but you'd do the same if you saw the donkey, baby goats, lamas, and potbelly pig. He oinked his way right into my heart.

You belt is so great - it really adds a lot of fun to your outfit! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't like animals, so I may not enjoy a petting zoo much but glad you had fun!
Your dress and belt are to die for, really really pretty. Nothing screams fall like that color. Would look cute with brown boots too.
ReplyDeleteBefore I had a child, I was also one of those who went to a petting zoo. It is more fun and special when I have a little one to tag along :) Thanks so much for visiting my little bloggy.
Petting zoos rock! Super cute outfit, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much ladies!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Melyssa!
ReplyDeleteReally?? They're at every petting zoo I've been too! I bet if you go to a petting zoo you'll see one :)
ReplyDeleteThanks KI! Yeah, then a petting zoo probably isn't for you :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Nelah! You know, I've only worn it as a summer dress because it's pretty light, but you're totally right. I'm definitely going to rock it with some tights, boots, and a scarf soon :)
ReplyDeleteI bet petting zoos are more fun when you have a little one- can't wait for one day when I have mine :)
Thanks Heather!!
ReplyDeleteWhere is your Ren Fair costume?!? This is kinda ridiculous, but I really WANT to go to a Ren Fair. My specialization is Old and Medieval English, so fairs really entertain me. But there aren't any fairs close to where I live :(
ReplyDeleteBummer! You should see if you can make a trip out to the one here in the Bay Area one year- it's big and really pretty cool. I was super lame and did not get my act in time together to dress up, but many people there were in really cool costumes!

ReplyDeleteI've been to a few renaissance fairs myself. My sister used to be big into them. They usually have some pertty stellar shops for jewelry & stuff.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tiffany! I wasn't sue if it was too much yellow together, but then decided one can never have enough yellow :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ly! Yeah the dress was a little too low cut for me, but a cami with some nice detailing up top did the trick :)
ReplyDeleteThey do! A little pricey, but they have some beautiful stuff :)
ReplyDeleteGreat color on you. Love the belt and shoes. The sunglasses are way glamorous!

What a fantastic mix of prints between your cami and that belt! Mustard is such a great color on you too :) I almost went to the Renaissance festival a few weeks ago but wasn't able to go. Glad you enjoyed the petting zoo.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is adorable and you look awesome in mustard yellow! I have never been to a Renaissance Fair but it sounds like it would be a ton of fun and ALSO...petting zoo?? I have nightmares from them...when I was kid a donkey started chewing at my shirt :(
ReplyDeleteThe cami is too pretty not to wear. Love the mustard dress
ReplyDeleteOf course! They definitely are- just like slippers :)
