During my second ever blog post, I noted that skirts and windy days do not a good combo make. Well, the wind and I were at it again today because either 1) I am dense and it takes a while for a lesson to sink it or 2) I subconsciously like showing off my undies. Now that I think about it, I was wearing a particularly cute pair today, so I wouldn't be surprised if my floozy subconscious wanted the world to know. At least that meant Ryan was entertained while taking these photos. I think he deserves a little somethin' somethin' for all that hard work.
Shop:
- Anthropologie skirt (bought on sale, no longer available. Buy kind of similar here)
- Banana Republic Factory store top (bought on sale circa 2008, no longer available. Buy kind of similar here or here)
- Shoes from random little store in Germany (circa 2010)
I always end up wearing skirts on windy days too! Yours is very pretty - love all the colours :)
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit! And I know! I always seem to wear a dress when it is super windy out!

ReplyDeleteLOLOLOLOL! I suppose you need to give Ryan a little motivation to keep taking photos of you. You truly crack me up!!

ReplyDeleteLOL. Nude spandex it is :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I know, right? It's pretty boring for him I imagine, and we're almost at the 2 month mark of taking photos everyday so I had to give him something to keep him going :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Cacy!

Is that the Golden Gate Bridge in the background? THE Golden Gate Bridge? OMG girl. You know how to bring out the envy in me like no other.
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is adorable. I show off my undies all the time. I used to do it a lot in the parking lot at my school because I wore way too short skirts on windy days. Then I started wearing bike shorts, and the problem was solved! But, I still like to show off my undies.
What a great setting to take pictures. I love the print of that skirt, even if it wouldn't stay put for you ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Come back and visit!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lara!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I do not understand this
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather! It's gorgeous here :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteLOL. That sure is THE one and only golden gate bridge :) I never think to wear shorts under my skirt until it is too late! I should just embrace the undie showing off like you :)

Thanks Kileen! I'm just super persistant and call tons of stores until I (sometimes) find what I want in my size :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI can see it billowing. So funny. Good for Ryan though, as you said. The waist on that skirt is great. I'm glad you tucked the shirt in to show it and your tiny waist off.
ReplyDeleteGotta keep the photographer happy :) Thanks Tracy! I tried it with a shirt out and it's definitely a no go, so tucked in it was :)
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt!

Ha, we were total outfit and weather twins today! I also had some trouble in a full, high-waisted skirt and the wind on the metro escalator...oops! I love the print of that skirt with the ruffles of teh top. So feminine and fun!

haha but Im sure your underwear is tres cute! lol I expect they WANT to be shown off teehee ^_^ Wellington is notorious for windy weather too and since I am a girl that LIVES in skirts and dresses its not a good combo. However despite your flashing moments your outfit is really cute. Floral and pale blue look fantastic together ^_^
ReplyDeleteEeli
that print is AMAZING!

Well, actually you can wear skirts on windy days - just not a-lines :)
ReplyDeleteNot that you shouldn't have worn this one, because it's so adorable!
Inna, I have officially decided, we need to meet somewhere btwn Chicago and SF and shop together...specifically you can help me tackle Anthro and I'll help you tackle F21. Deal???
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteIt's true, and it's not like I have a shortage of pencil skirts that would work...it's that floozy subconscious of mine I tell ya :)
ReplyDeleteDEFINITELY deal. I've wanted to visit Chicago forever anyway, so maybe I'll even make a trip out there :)
ReplyDeleteHaha I hate it when my skirt does that! It happens more than I'd like lol - regardless you look very cute!
ReplyDeleteLOL Skippy! You are beyond hilarious. Adorable skirt girl. Love the colors in it. And that top, with the cute ruffled sleeves...FAB! :D

ReplyDeleteThanks Jo! For SF layers are KEY- depending on what part of the city you're in the weather can change by 10+ degrees. Oh, and there are tons of hills so bring good walking shoes! Let me know id you want any help or recommendations for stuff around here!!
ReplyDeleteInna!! You are hilarious!! Whenever I hear the word floozy, it reminds me of Nacho Libre - one of the funniest movies ever!
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, this is a super cute outfit! I love all the colors in the skirt!
